Subprocessors and supplier safeguards

How we select and manage third-party providers that help deliver and support Simana.

We use third-party service providers to help deliver and support Simana. Where a provider processes personal data on our behalf while we act as a processor for a customer, that provider is a subprocessor.

Selecting and managing providers

Before engaging a subprocessor, we assess its security and privacy arrangements, including relevant legal requirements. We use contractual controls to require applicable data-protection safeguards.

Providers that process information on our behalf do so under our instructions. We remain responsible for their handling of that information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to subprocessors

As Simana continues to grow and evolve our services, we may decide to work with new subprocessors and will provide you with notice when that happens as required under your applicable agreement with Simana.
